"The central focus of my public art is site-specific artwork with a client/community-oriented approach, innovation in design, use of natural light, symbolism and commemorative work in contemporary design. I create works of art that communicate, recognize values all the while focusing on details of the architecture, landscape and purpose of the art. Additionally, I incorporate and address specific issues related to the existing conditions, environment or a combination of themes. The public artworks that I create uniquely belong to the site community, are beloved by the public and become icons for their communities. Because of my commitment to site/community specific public art, the designs of my work vary but the essence is in the combination of the visual form and the concept behind each work."
