PLANET WALK is a major commissioned project in progress. NASA / Goddard Space Flight Center joined with the Friends of Anne Arundel County Trails, Anne Arundel County, and the State of Maryland to create a project that will enable the County's residents to stroll, bike or roller blade through the solar system. The linear art gallery of sculptures, the sun and each of the planets would form Planet Walk. Each sculpture was planned to be unique and give visual form to the essence of each planet.
